Requirements

Qualifications required:

  • Minimum of four GCSEs or equivalent qualifications

  • Accurate keyboard skills and the ability to create effective documents
  • Able to design and maintain record systems
  • Computer user of Microsoft Windows and Office – Word, Excel, Email and Calendar applications
  • Able to liaise effectively with staff and managers at all levels in the organisation

Description:

To provide a range of administrative and clerical functions to support the Human Resources team and to provide an efficient point of contact whilst promoting a professional corporate image. To adhere to all HR NHS standards and Trust policies and procedures.

  • To assist in responding to high volume telephone enquires in a professional and friendly manner providing information on both internal and external applicants
  • To assist responding to applicant enquires for application packs via phone, email, on line and in person
  • To carry out DBS checks for new employees and re-checks for existing employees
  • To administer and distribute incoming and outgoing mail in accordance with operational requirements and priorities
  • Photocopying and printing of interview documentation to agreed procedures and timelines as required
  • Type up meetings as required
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of records and documents where necessary
  • To assist in preparation of the Trust selection events and attend to carry out ID checks at the events
  • To support the wider HR team and diversity and inclusion team with aspects of their work as required
