Requirements

Qualifications required:

  • Minimum of GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English Language or the ability to demonstrate Literacy and numeracy skills to national level 1 standard.

Desired skills:
  • IT Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Able to prioritise workload

Description:

Working as part of a small team the post holder will provide high quality comprehensive assistance to the Estate team within the limits of own skills, knowledge and qualification, in accordance with the Trust's policies, procedures, protocols and current legislation.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of efficient and effective office and administrative systems
  • Establish and maintain appropriate manual and computerised filing systems ensuring that records and information are readily available
  • Undertake and arrange reprographic work and photocopying
  • Receive incoming telephone calls, manage queries or take messages as appropriate
  • Compile and provide information on numbers of maintenance/repair requests and locations as required in connection with performance monitoring and expenditure
  • Log maintenance/repair requests and subsequently distribution to relevant in-house maintenance workers or external contractors
  • Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development to ensure that quality standards are maintained
