Requirements

Qualifications required:

  • GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths and English.

Training provided:
Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 3 Technical Certificate
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
You will have access to your own online e-portfolio to monitor your progress and access resources.  You will be assigned a Trainer who specialises in teaching and delivering the Business Administration qualification; they will be with you during your sessions in the centre and also make regular visits to see you in your place of work. Sessions are kept small to ensure each learner gets the correct support and guidance throughout the duration of their apprenticeship.

Description:

We have an exciting opportunity within our small yet growing business for an Apprentice Administrator. This is a really good opportunity for someone who wants to join a professional and passionate company who wants to commit for the long term!

In addition to the training provided as part of the Business Administration Apprenticeship scheme, we are looking to invest in the right person further by offering a range of additional training  to develop your skills further, and in the long term develop you to become an asset to our business.

Within our small and friendly team, the primary role that you will undertake is:

  • Answering the telephone in a professional manner
  • Taking customer orders, involving accurate input of customer data
  • Liaising with warehouse and other operational staff
  • Preparing despatch paperwork and labels
  • Diverse administrative duties including e-mail letters, mail shot, correspondence, and general filing

In addition, you will get the opportunity to work in all aspects of the business including the sales administration office, purchasing, new business sales, marketing and finance which will offer the right candidate extensive business knowledge which we think is not offered to all apprentices!
