Qualifications required:

  • GCSE  at grade A* - C/9 - 4 (or equivalent) in maths and English are preferred.

Training provided:

Level 3 - Infrastructure technician standard. This is typically an 18 month apprenticeship with an end point assessment taking place once the on-programme training has been completed. Training will be carried out in the work place on an individual basis. Before the end assessment can take place, the apprentice must have successfully achieved Level 2 English and maths. Apprentices with eligible English and maths qualifications are not required to undertake the functional skills element of the training. Apprentices will have their knowledge and technical understanding formally assessed at relevant times during their apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is recognised for entry onto the register of IT technicians confirming SFIA level 3 professional competence and those completing the apprenticeship are eligible to apply for registration.
