Qualifications required:

Training provided:
You will complete the Intermediate Level 2 apprenticeship in Business Administration

Description:

To assist with all aspects of the day to day management of the systems and processes for the inputting, analysis and reporting of data. To support the smooth and efficient management of all examinations held within the academy.

  • To support the academy’s focus on learner achievement by providing data analysis as necessary
  • To ensure that all systems, processes and procedures are adequately documented and accessible to all relevant staff
  • To amend student timetables
  • To support with all reporting to relevant internal and third party organisations
  • To maintain the collection, storage and analysis of all relevant student data as appropriate
  • To make use of the student performance tracking and reporting system
  • To contribute to all aspects of the ICT driven examination analysis and reporting systems
  • To cover the role of Data, Exams & Cover Manager in their absence
  • To support in the day-to-day running of examinations
  • To distribute examination listings for amendments and checking by Head of Departments
  • To distribute student examination timetables
  • To distribute letters to students and parents on relevant examination issues
  • To support in the start and finish examinations
  • To dispatch completed examination scripts to markers with accurate attendance sheets
  • To maintain the examination store
  • To collate result slips to distribute to students
  • To organise the examination certificates for Presentation evening
  • To liaise with staff to establish staff absence on a daily basis
  • To organise the timetabling of cover supervisors and booking external supply teachers to ensure that all lessons are covered
  • To ensure all absence and cover arrangements are accurately recorded
  • To respect confidential issues linked to home/students/teacher/school work
  • To comply with the academy’s Child Safeguarding Procedures, including regular liaison with the academy’s Designated Child Safeguarding Person over any safeguarding issues or concerns
  • To comply with the academy’s policies and procedures at all times
  • To provide routine clerical support e.g. photocopying, filing, faxing, emailing, and completing routine forms
  • To ensure that everyone is dealt with in a courteous, professional, calm and friendly manner
  • To provide an excellent customer service to parents, pupils, colleagues and visitors to the Academy
  • To support team members, sharing learning and best practice in order to contribute to overall team effectiveness
  • To undertake typing, word processing and other IT based tasks
  • To provide cover for reception duties when required, being the first point of contact for visitors, parents and pupils, answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries and the signing in and out of visitors
  • To participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
