Working week/hours: You will work 5 days out of the 7 on a rota basis between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00. Total hours per week: 30.00

Apprenticeship duration: 15 Months Maximum with future full time position available for the right candidate.

Apprenticeship level: Intermediate (Level 2)


Qualifications required:

  • GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths & English are preferred
  • A valid Food Hygiene Certificate would be an advantage but not essential

Training provided:
Level 2 Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (where required)
  • Food Hygiene Technical Certificate
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)


This will be a varied role, involving a lot of customer service duties. You will help both in the Kitchen and Front of House. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that wants to develop their skills in both Hospitality and Customer Service.

  • Attend to all customer requirements within the kitchen and café areas
  • Maintain a happy, welcoming and professional disposition at all times
  • Take customer orders
  • Clear tables, both outdoor & indoor areas
  • Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen are presented to an exceptionally high standard
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Undertake till work
  • Use of the coffee machine
  • Make sure kitchen is always prepared for the following day’s orders
  • Preserve quality and hygiene of food
  • Ensuring kitchen hygiene (floors, sinks, cooking equipment, fridge temperatures) every day
  • Undertake cleaning duties in the café area and kitchen area
  • Restocking items when necessary
  • Any other related duties
