Qualifications required:

There are no specific requirements as we are keen to give the right candidate the opportunity. Given the role, the right candidate will have an excellent level of English - both spoken and written.

Training provided:
The successful candidate will undertake an Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) in Business and Administration. Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.


In your role you will be working with a small team to help build and develop administration systems and structures, you will gain experience in how to set up processes from scratch and improve other processes already in place.

As our apprentice, we will give you the opportunity to learn about the whole business so you will sometimes be out and about visiting our sites, talking to suppliers,  learning about what we do and getting an understanding of the needs of the business.

You will already have strong organisational skills and you will also be keen to understand and get into the detail of what you are doing. You will get the chance to develop these skills further and apply them in a real business setting.

A key task for you will be to learn how to order materials for building projects and to make sure that these are delivered on time and in the right way. So you will learn how to communicate effectively and confidently with suppliers and merchants and colleagues.

Another important task is to contribute to our social media strategy. You will use your existing knowledge of social media and develop it into a business setting.

Summary of roles and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Answering emails and telephone calls
  • Booking customer appointments into diaries
  • Speaking with suppliers and ordering materials
  • Undertaking tasks to support teams to deliver and excellent customer experience
