Training provided:
Level 2 apprenticeship in Business Administration, which includes:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Business and Administration
  • Level 2 Technical Certificate
  • Level 1/2 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
  • Day release to attend a session once a week at our Hull Learning Centre
You will have access to your own online e-portfolio to monitor your progress and access resources. You will be assigned a Trainer who specialises in teaching and delivering the Business Administration qualification; they will be with you during your sessions in the centre and also make regular visits to see you in your place of work. Sessions are kept small to ensure each learner gets the correct support and guidance throughout the duration of their apprenticeship.


This is primarily an administrative role to support the sales team. The role requires strong communication skills, as it will include dealing with customers, suppliers and contractors. Full training will be given and salaries are reviewed and increased after 6 months.

  • Collating prices from suppliers for bespoke products
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers over the telephone
  • Creating job schedules
  • Quotations
  • Accurately inputting data in a timely manner using bespoke software (training provided)
  • Use of Excel and MS Office packages
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Following procedures and working towards set deadlines
