Training provided:
The successful candidate will undertake an Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) in Business and Administration. Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.

Description:

An exciting opportunity to work in a busy estate agent in Scarborough, learning all aspects of the estate agency industry as well as office administration and sales.

  • Type up all property details adding photographs and floor plans
  • Prepare files and check all required information for marketing is valid and correct
  • Order EPC’s and monitor for return
  • Send out all correspondence to vendors on a timely basis
  • Prepare and update displays of properties
  • Liaise on a day to day basis with customers and exceed customer enquiries
  • Book viewings using IT system
  • Complete customer records and update records in IT system
  • Encourage second viewings; offers etc where appropriate
  • Generate new business
  • Achieve all sales targets
  • Build relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Manage and maintain on a daily basis all administrative systems and procedures
  • Liaise with clients and solicitors as appropriate to deliver excellent customer service
  • Work closely with other third party operators where appropriate to exceed customer expectations
  • Administer all responsibilities in the most cost effective way and always operate within approved budgets and Company Policies
  • To communicate the company's vision and values where appropriate to all customers and third parties
