Qualifications required:

Training provided:
All training to be delivered in the workplace and on a one to one basis with tutor/assessor support.


This is a pivotal IT support role with the key purpose of providing all-round IT support to the business, with the aim of achieving the Level 3 Infrastructure Technician qualification. Twenty percent of time will be committed to attending external IT training along with the completion assignments, including important IT support duties.

  • Assisting the IT Manager with the resolution of first line support queries utilising a ticketing system;
  • Liaising with our third-party provider to escalate any second line issues in the absence of the IT Manager;
  • Providing hardware support, maintaining an up-to-date inventory of hardware assets, software licensing
  • Managing the issue of laptops and desktop equipment
  • Moving equipment in in line with operational requirements and maintaining patching in the comms room
  • Installing windows and ensuring accounts and administering leavers
  • To assist with the completion of IT Security Audits, Risk Assessments and Physical Security Checks in line with ISO 27001
  • To ensure they confirm to their terms and conditions of employment; including the Company’s Information Security and Data Protection Policies and appropriate methods of working to achieve and maintain a level of awareness on security relevant to their role and responsibilities.
