Personal qualities:

The individual will need to learn quickly on the job and have the ability to work on specific tasks individually and expand and develop their knowledge base and skill set.  The individual will ideally have experience of working in a similar role, however, we will train and progress any individual that is the right fit for our business but does not, hold any previous experience in accounting.  A good general knowledge of Window is essential and experience with sage would be beneficial, but not essential.  The applicants must be ability to work individually and as part of a team, be self-motivated and driven to succeed.

Description:

Pro-Am Sports is looking for an Apprenticeship Accounts Assistant to work with the admin team within a fast-growing company.

As part of a small team the Apprenticeship Accounts Assistant will help to develop and implement the company’s financial plan.  The day-to-day activities will include, processing supplier invoices, managing and reconciling the bank accounts and managing internal costings.  The role will also require the individual to communicating with suppliers and chasing outstanding debt.

The right candidate will be committed, driven by constant personal development and want to enjoy their work.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with customer & supplier quires.
  • Reconciling bank accounts.
  • Processing all supplier invoices.
  • Sending out monthly customer statements
  • Creating Credit accounts and approving applications.
  • Processing all company expenses.
  • Sending out Monthly Customer Statements & Chasing outstanding debts.
