We are a well-established independent training provider and have been involved in Government sponsored training since 1985 but with roots as far back as 1977 when we commenced business as a Group Training Association. We provide work-based learning in Yorkshire and Humberside, which is funded by the Learning & Skills Council, and the training is provided FREE to the employer and the learner.
The free training covers:
- Apprenticeships, including Level 4, for young people aged 16-25
- Employer Training Pilots up to Level 2 for workers of any age who do not possess a Level 2
- Essential skills training covering Numeracy, Literacy and Language
In addition, we have contracts with Jobcentre Plus which allow us to deliver high quality, new and updated skills to people aiming to get back into the workplace. This enables them to obtain valuable work experience and permanent employment and provides employers with a cost effective solution to increase their staffing levels.
We hold accreditation with the following Awarding Bodies: City & Guilds, ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management), OCR (Oxford & Cambridge Royal Society of Arts) and AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) for the following occupational areas:

Our portfolio of accreditations is constantly upgraded and expanded.
We are committed to the delivery of quality training and consistently exceed the performance measures of the LSC and Jobcentre Plus. We hold ISO9001:2000 through BSI and also the Investor in People Award.
We are constantly investing in our staff and facilities to provide the best possible learning environment for our learners.
Since 1985, we have successfully helped well over 5000 people gain NVQs, Apprenticeships and employment, thanks to a close working relationship with employers. We are extremely confident that we will continue to do so in the coming years.
Our logo highlights our three main types of customers (young people and adults, businesses and the LSC/Jobcentre Plus) indicated by the three corners of the triangle, with ourselves being the catalyst facilitating the needs of all three customers.
